What tutors do

  • Keep the conversation going and make sure everyone gets a turn.
  • Bring a topic when the group has none.
  • Help with a word without correcting every sentence.
  • Take attendance for their own batch, evening by evening.

What tutors do not do

They do not teach and they do not grade. They also see only the rosters of the batches they are assigned to — never anyone else's.

The best sign of a good evening is that the tutor said the least.

Joining as a tutor

Comfortable in German, happy to listen, and free for a couple of evenings a month? Then you would fit in well.
